Since 2008 he began making wine on his own.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row bg_type=&#8221;no_bg&#8221; margin_top=&#8221;20&#8243;][vc_column]<div class=\"dt-fancy-separator title-left text-big style-dashed accent-border-color\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><div class=\"dt-fancy-title bg-on\"><span class=\"separator-holder separator-left\"><\/span>Description of the winery<span class=\"separator-holder separator-right\"><\/span><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1422798972362{margin-top: 10px !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The winery is located in Alonte, in the province of Vicenza (north-eastern Italy). We are in the southwestern part of <strong>Colli Berici<\/strong>, at an altitude of 200 meters. The soil type is clay and limestone. We grow <strong>Merlot<\/strong>, <strong>Cabernet Sauvignon<\/strong>, white <strong>Pinot<\/strong>, white <strong>Tai<\/strong> vineyards planted in the late 80\u2019s and early 90\u2019s. Furthermore, from 2009 harvest, a new implantation of <strong>red Tai<\/strong> has been set up and we hope that it will give us great satisfaction.<br \/>\n<strong>Treatments<\/strong> in the vineyards are <strong>limited<\/strong> to copper and sulfur, while weeding and fertilizing with chemicals have been abandoned since 2004. Since 2006 we started working the land with <strong>autumnal grooves<\/strong> to remove the grassy surface layer, left intact for several years. This was done to promote better oxygenation of the soil and to remove surface roots in favor of deeper.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row bg_type=&#8221;no_bg&#8221; margin_top=&#8221;20&#8243;][vc_column]<div class=\"dt-fancy-separator title-left text-big style-dashed accent-border-color\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><div class=\"dt-fancy-title bg-on\"><span class=\"separator-holder separator-left\"><\/span>Associations<span class=\"separator-holder separator-right\"><\/span><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1422799025802{margin-top: 10px !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The winery is member of\u00a0<a title=\"Vinnatur\" href=\"http:\/\/www.vinnatur.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vinnatur<\/a>,\u00a0which submit its members to periodic checks on wines, with analysis to search for any pesticide residues.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row bg_type=&#8221;no_bg&#8221; margin_top=&#8221;20&#8243;][vc_column]<div class=\"dt-fancy-separator title-left text-big style-dashed accent-border-color\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><div class=\"dt-fancy-title bg-on\"><span class=\"separator-holder separator-left\"><\/span>Wines<span class=\"separator-holder separator-right\"><\/span><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1520266857629{margin-top: 10px !important;}&#8221;]<ul class=\"standard-arrow bullet-top\"><li><p><strong>Nanni (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon)<\/strong>.\u00a0Spontaneous fermentation without addition of selected yeasts, maceration on the skins for 7 to 15 days. After settling in steel tanks, the wine is poured in used oak cask of 225 l. until bottling, which is done without filtration. Usually, no sulfites are added in any stage of wine making.<\/p>\n<\/li><li><p><strong>Pietrobianco (Pinot bianco, Tai italico)<\/strong>. he grapes are pressed directly without destemming. The must is left to ferment spontaneously, with addition of about 5 grams of potassium metabisulfite per hectolitre. At the end of fermentation it is left to settle for several weeks, then it\u2019s poured in steel tanks where it remains until bottling.<\/p>\n<\/li><li><p><strong>Tai Rosso<\/strong>. (typical grape of Colli Berici). Spontaneous fermentation and maceration on the skins for 2 weeks. After racking and pressing of grapes, it is left to settle in steel tanks for several weeks. Then, it\u2019s poured in used oak cask until bottling. Even for this wine, no filtration and no sulfites addition as far as possible.<\/p>\n<\/li><\/ul>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row bg_type=&#8221;no_bg&#8221; margin_top=&#8221;20&#8243;][vc_column]<div class=\"dt-fancy-separator title-left text-big style-dashed accent-border-color\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><div class=\"dt-fancy-title bg-on\"><span
