{"id":37295,"date":"2019-06-23T14:26:46","date_gmt":"2019-06-23T14:26:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vino-bio.com\/?page_id=37295"},"modified":"2024-02-15T15:35:11","modified_gmt":"2024-02-15T15:35:11","slug":"natural-wines","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.vino-bio.com\/en\/natural-wines\/","title":{"rendered":"Natural wines"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column]<div class=\"dt-fancy-separator h4-size accent-title-color\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><div class=\"dt-fancy-title\"><span class=\"separator-holder separator-left\"><\/span>Natural wines<span class=\"separator-holder separator-right\"><\/span><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1690825123986{padding-top: 15px !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We immediately clarify that <strong>there is no univocal definition<\/strong> of &#8220;natural wine&#8221;.\u00a0Moreover, the name given to this kind of wines\u00a0<strong>does not exclude<\/strong>\u00a0the characteristic of &#8220;naturalness&#8221; of organic and biodynamic wines, but refers, in our opinion, to the producers who do not necessarily undergo a certification and at the same time\u00a0refuse\u00a0to use\u00a0chemical products\u00a0of synthesis and to intervene in the\u00a0work of the cellar with\u00a0invasive oenological practices.<br \/>\nThe intent of these producers is to create wines that are as much as possible &#8220;children&#8221; of the\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0territory\u00a0\u00a0and of the culture from which they come, respectful of the cycles of nature.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On vino-bio.com website you will find, among others, some wineries belonging to three associations of producers that in Italy are carrying out the idea of \u200b\u200ba more ecological viticulture: <strong>Vini Veri<\/strong>, <strong>VinNatur<\/strong>, <strong>Renaissance des Appellations<\/strong>. Let&#8217;s see a brief description, hinting at the criteria that are given to define their concept of naturalness.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Vini Veri<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The purpose of the\u00a0ViniVeri\u00a0association, as\u00a0stated\u00a0on the institutional website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.viniveri.net\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.viniveri.net<\/a>, is to &#8220;obtain a wine in the absence of acceleration and stabilization, recovering the best balance between the action of\u00a0<strong>man<\/strong>\u00a0and the cycles of\u00a0<strong>nature<\/strong>&#8220;.\u00a0The rule that the group imposes is very clear and requires, among other things:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">cultivation of native vines;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">manual harvesting;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">exclusive use of indigenous yeasts present on grapes and in the cellar;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">fermentation without temperature control;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">exclusion of any clarifying action and filtration that alters the biological and natural balance of wines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For a complete view of the\u00a0disciplinary, please refer to the specific <a href=\"https:\/\/www.viniveri.net\/en\/soci-del-consorzio\/la-regola\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">association web page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>VinNatur<\/em><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the\u00a0VinNatur\u00a0association manifesto (website: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vinnatur.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.vinnatur.org<\/a>) &#8220;producing wine in a natural way means acting in full respect of the territory, of the vine and of natural cycles, limiting through experimentation the use of invasive and toxic agents of a chemical and technological nature in general, first in vineyard and subsequently in the cellar&#8221;.<br \/>\nThe association invests a lot on research, on <strong>experimentation<\/strong>\u00a0and on the exchange of experiences between winemakers to promote vineyard and winery practices oriented to the utmost respect for the environment.\u00a0To this end, he promotes a meeting every year\u00a0Villa Favorita\u00a0(close to Vicenza).<br \/>\nYou can view the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vinnatur.org\/en\/perche\/statuto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">statute of the association<\/a> to deepen its methodology.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Renaissance des Appellations Italia<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Renaissance des Appellations is an international association of winemakers created by\u00a0<strong>Nicolas\u00a0Joly<\/strong>\u00a0in 2001. The Italian section currently includes about thirty producers, inspired by the principles of <strong>biodynamic agriculture<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThe <a href=\"http:\/\/renaissance-italia.it\/carta-della-qualita\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Quality Charter<\/a> of the association is very detailed and is focused on the care of the
