At the end of the First World War, Callisto Morgante and his wife Marianna Severini began making wine in the municipality of Allerona. The viticulture activity was continued by his son Alberto first and then by his grandson Massimo. Today it is carried on by Alberto Morgante, Massimo’s son, who with his father has modernized the machinery and cultivation techniques, immediately using the organic cultivation regime.

The winery is located in the territory of Allerona, northwest of Orvieto, where there are several white grape varieties typical of the area (Verdello, Grechetto, Malvasia, Trebbiano toscano) and some international varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Petit Verdot.
The production philosophy is based on three fundamental concepts:
1. The drinkability of the wines that must always be balanced, fresh, never too alcoholic and with the least number of interventions in the cellar.
2. The link with the territory and the environment where the vines grow and mature and where they express all their peculiarities
3. Sustainability: no synthetic products are used and the vineyards are cultivated organically
